Our Mission

Jamake's Cake Creations is committed to providing the most elegant and delicious specialty
cakes in the iowa City Area. Specializing in wedding and sweetheart cakes, we also create
cakes for: Bachelorette parties, Birthdays, Wedding and Baby showers, Anniversaries, or
any special occasion. Call to schedule an appointment and take the first step towards

Jamake Dudley officially opened
Jamake's Cake Creations for business
in March of 2007, after years of creating
centerpiece cakes for friends and
family. An Iowa City native, Jamake
eventually found his calling for cakes
while studying at Kirkwood's School for
the Culinary Arts. In April of 2007 he
traveled to Darien, Illinois to study at the
Wilton School of Confectionary Arts,
and has continued to return to the
Wilton School annually, studying under
some of the nations leading
confectionary masters including: Mary
Gavenda, Sandra Folsom, and Colette
Peters of Colette's Cakes. Jamake's
Cake Creations believes strongly in
giving back to the community and
continues to donate confections to
organizations such as: The Children's
Miracle Network, DVIP, Operation
Homefront, and the JDRF (Hope for
Sophie).
